MentorCONNECT - The Vision: Overview

While there are as many different ways to make MentorCONNECT work for you as there are participants, the MC Leadership Team has envisioned the following as an 'ideal' for how this forum might be a support to all!

Vision

For Mentees**: Each Mentee will have one dedicated Mentor who will make themselves available to answer their Mentee's questions, brainstorm ideas for recovery stumbling blocks, strengthen, support and encourage their Mentee for the journey ahead, and be there to share both the challenges and joys of the recovery journey. IMPORTANT: Each Mentee should have NO MORE THAN one Mentor at a time, to allow for all who seek to be Mentored to find someone to team up with. Guidelines

For Mentors*: Each Mentor may, at their own discretion and without spreading themselves too thin, take on one or more Mentees, attempting to make contact with those Mentees who appear to be a good 'fit' for Mentor's background and life experience. Guidelines

For Both: Posting on the MC Community Boards (coming soon!), subscribing to Good News, and joining the free, moderated myspace.com online support community Behind this Mask: there is someone real can offer all MC participants additional support

p.s. Please remember to us once you have been matched so we can update our records

p.p.s. Still have questions? us and we will do our best to answer them for you!

*Mentor: a trusted guide who has knowledge and experience in a certain area, and is willing and able to share it.
