QUESTION: Can you tell me what your credentials are? ANSWER: Hi ? thank you for writing. My credentials?.well, it depends on what type of credentials you are asking about. I will assume you are referring to licensure, so in response to that aspect, I am currently in the process of returning to school to obtain my Masters in Psychology. In the meantime, all the work that I do relates directly back to how I healed from anorexia, bulimia, depression and anxiety disorder without access to professional medical assistance. For the past five years I have been frequently invited to speak and sing about my personal recovery experiences, and the experiences of women who have approached me for mentoring. I currently co-facilitate an inpatient eating disorders support group for a treatment center near Houston. My work is both unique and responsive ? by that I mean that I respond to requests for assistance in understanding why eating and mood disorders develop, and how to help those suffering to heal. I am also in the process of completing my first book, which is a journey through the private mentoring relationship I have had with two women suffering severe cases of anorexia.
