Give me just a moment, just a moment of your time
I know you’re much too busy to make sense of things right now
But did you ever stop to wonder why you’re here
And what your living really means
Back behind the scenes

So many of us are walking around, hiding the holes in our socks
The tears in our undershirts and the bills we haven't paid
More often than not feeling less than our worth
Not knowing the reason we’re here on this Earth
Is just because God so loved the world

Skinny and wide and tall and small we all rush by
Some of us crying, some of us laughing and some bemused
Always a question pulsing just beneath the surface
But we never find the time
To just ask why

And we’re wondering what all this really means
Do you really want to face that your small life isn’t what it seems
You are great, you are loved, you are precious as you’re…

Walking around with your eyes looking down, hiding the holes in your socks

You are part of this world
You are part of His world
