We don't have to look far from home to find others struggling just like we do to make better lives for themselves and their families. Having been there ourselves in one way or another inspires our desire to help others succeed. For this reason, Shannon donates a portion of all proceeds from sales of her newest CD, Dream of a Forgotten People, to help the people the songs were written about - the orphans, prisoners, street kids, single-parent woman-head-of-household families and hospitalized citizens of Costa Rica and Central America.
